Hi there!
I'm Parastoo (pronounced "Paris-two"), but my friends call me P2.

As a user experience designer with a background in fine arts, I bring a unique perspective to my work in healthcare, marketing, and advertising. I'm passionate about creating accessible, inclusive designs that make a positive impact on people's lives.

I hold an MFA in Multimedia and Digital Arts from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a BFA in Photography from the Art University of Tehran. I'm also a certified UI designer through CareerFoundry.

Currently, I'm a UX Designer at Verily (Google Life Sciences), where I use human-centered design techniques to create medical applications that improve patient care.

I am also a professional photographer and my photographs have been published and exhibited nationally and internationally

Other than design, I love traveling, photography, cooking, hiking, walking on the streets, going to art galleries or museums and trying new local restaurants and bars.

Fun fact: I have a long list of saved restaurants categorized by cuisines in my google map and have that handy anytime someone is looking for a new spot to have a drink or a special meal.

Other things about me

You usually find me either taking photos or thinking about a good photo that I could take if I had my camera with me.

I love making art and seeing art.

This photo is from my MFA exhibition. You can read more about this installation in my fine arts portfolio.

I enjoy watching nature. Maybe that’s why I love photography.

Food and drinks make me happy!
